LAYOUT: These three editions of Kerrang Rock music magazine all repeat putting all of the band on the front cover. This is a way in which they attempt to make the layout look busy. This will entice there target market to buy the magazine. Also, many other stories are arranged at the bottom of the page in all three editions. This will make sure that the magazine has a range of stories to stop it from being boring with the same stories in each edition. Also in each of the editions shown there are special offers or freebies that may come with the magazine are shown in bright colours. This banner on each edition will attract its audience as everyone loves a freebie or an offer for a certain product to do with music.

COLOUR/FONT: The font and colour of the three editions is quit similar as the use of three colours: red, white and yellow are used. This show's how designer’s try to make the editions similar in colour and theme shown. This also gives the magazine its own look/style so that it can be easily recognised by its audience. The use of these colours means that it stands out on the shelf from any magazines which use bland boring colours. This is what will help the magazine sell. Also, their audience will know where to look for any stories or design.

INFORMATION: The information provided by the magazine shows us many stories in which rock music fans will want to read about. An example is the stories based on different bands each week, just like the story about “Biffy Clyro”. This is a big band which people will want to read about. Also as with any magazine their are not just one type of story to do with their subject. This will make sure that the magazine is not boring to the customers. This is a great way that the magazine attempts to sell.
